FAQ

My illumination tool will not work?

1. Most likely, the battery is dead. Replace with a new battery.

2. Tailcap may not be on properly, preventing a connection. Remove and screw back on. Make sure tailcap is properly screwed on and tight.

3. Make sure battery is placed in the illumination tool the proper way (positive end facing towards the front of the light).

How do I activate the IR remote control feature?

1. Hold the illumination tool in your hand and turn the light on by pushing the on/off button located in the back of the light’s end tailcap.

2. Next, using the remote control key fob, aim the key fob towards the front of the illumination tool and push the key fob’s on/off button. This will turn the light off but will keep the light in “stand-by” mode.

3. To see if the light is in “stand-by” mode, use the remote control key fob to test. By trying to turn on and off. Also, check to see if the small red LED indicator light is lit. You can find the small red LED indicator light inside of the clear, see through section of the illumination tool. If this indicator light is on (red), then the remote sensor feature is activated and in stand-by mode.

4. Once in stand-by mode, just aim and use the remote control key fob to turn the tool on and off when desired. Use this mode during your shift or inspections.

How do I deactivate the IR remote control feature?

1. Hold the light and push the on/off button located in the back of the light on the end tailcap.

2. Your remote control sensor is now deactivated. Please test deactivation by aiming the remote control key fob at the light and pushing the remote control key fob on/off. If deactivated, the key fob will not work.

3. Also, check to make sure the remote feature is off by examining the small red LED indicator light found inside of the clear, see through section of the illumination tool. If you do not see the red indicator light, then the remote sensor feature is off. NOTE: FAILURE TO DECTIVATE THE REMOTE SENSOR PRIOR TO STORING THE LIGHT WILL CAUSE THE BATTERY TO DRAIN, REDUCING BATTERY LIFE.
